Though the movie Eddie the Eagle is based on Eddie Edwards who was the first man to represent Great Britain in the 1988 Olympic ski jumping and won it too but has failed to show his real story of him. It seems director has remolded the actual facts to an extreme level that make the movie not a biopic but just another drama yet inspiring movie on ski jumping. It lacks the essence of his hard work. Many of us may not have heard of Eddie Edwards and even with this movie, you will not get any idea of who he was in actual. But still you can go and watch this as a mere inspirational movie because this movie will tell you how to believe yourself when no one actually believes you and life put you in a rough patch. Then at that time how to make your dreams to realities without making compromises on your dreams.
